Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 72 -131
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK AT MUNICIPAL SERVICE GARAGE
WHEREAS, on November 5, 1968, the electorate of Brooklyn Center
authorized the issuance of bonds to finance the construction of a municipal
service garage; and
WHEREAS, on December 15, 1969 the Brooklyn Center City Council
approved contracts for the construction of the municipal service garage; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to written contracts, the following have satisfactorily
completed the project in accordance with their contract obligations:
General Contract (Antler Corp.): 222, 000,..00
Extras: GI Addition of keyed locks

Deducts:
Final Contract Payment: 222,071.07
Mechanical Contract

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center to hereby accept and approve the work completed at the costs
recited above.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Maurice Britts and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen,
Howard Heck and Maurice Britts;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
