and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 72 -132
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK AT EAST SIDE FIRE STATION
WHEREAS, on November 5, 1968, the electorate of Brooklyn Center
authorized the issuance of bonds to finance the construction of an East Side
Fire Station; and
WHEREAS, on December 15, 1969, the Brooklyn Center City Council
approved contracts for the construction of the East Side Fire Station; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to written contracts, the following have satis-
factorily completed the project in accordance with their contract obligations:
General Contract (Wm.Kranz, Inc.): 125,243.00
Extra s: G 1 lower interior footings due
to unstable soil 580.80
G2 Install additional roof joists
bracing and cut in new
driveway 668.60
G3 Furnish extra glass panels
for overhead doors 45.80
Deducts:
Final Contract Payment: 126,538.20
Mechanical Contract (P D Mech.Cont.): 34, 674.00
Extra s:
Deducts: Ml Delete emergency generators,
gasoline tank piping 440.00
Final Contract Payment: 34,234.00

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center to hereby accept and approve the vvork completed at the costs
recited above.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by member John Leary, and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen,
Howard Heck and Maurice Britts;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
