HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-128 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -128 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Keys Well Drilling Company has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: Deep Well Improvement Project No. 1970 -1A for furnishing and installing deep well pump and electric motor and furnishing motor starter for Brooklyn Center Well #7, located approximately 70' west of future Camden Ave. and approximately 700' north of 70th Ave. No. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $120.00 because conditions of the well did not warrant the use of the 10 -foot section of 10 11 -pipe column and pump line shaft as called for in the original specifications. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on July 12, 1971, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $9,320.00. July 12, 1 971 Date Mayor ATTEST: CXerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
