and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 71 -134
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER TO
ACT AS GRANTEE AND ADMINISTRATOR OF A COMPONENT PROGRAM
ANALYSIS PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center and the City of Golden Valley
are submitting an application for funding of a Component Program Analysis
System project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Golden Valley has requested that the City
of Brooklyn Center act as the grantee for the project:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center that:
1. That the City of Brooklyn Center act as grantee
for the Component Program Analysis System and
administer the funds on behalf of Golden Valley
for a period of twelve months.
2. That the City Manager of the City of Brooklyn Center
is hereby authorized and directed to execute such a grant as
requested by the Governor's Commission on Crime
Prevention and Control to imple i roject

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by member Vernon Ausen and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen,
Howard Heck and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
