HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-135 CCR MemberVernon Ausen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO.71 -135 RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE PURCHASE OF TWO CASH REGISTERS AND TO TRANSFER AN APPROPRIATION FROM THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL'S CONTINGENCY ACCOUNT WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained proposals for the purchase of two cash registers for use in the City Hall and the Northbrook Liquor Store, and WHEREAS, he has determined that the quotations submitted by Cash Register Sales, Inc. for the two registers are the best proposals submitted and are as follows: City Hall Cash Register 1,375.00 Liquor Store Cash Register 1,175.00 2nd, WHEREAS, an appropriation has not previously been provided in the Administrative Office Furniture and Equipment Budget for a cash register: BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of two reconditioned cash registers in the amount of $2,550.00 from Cash Register Sales, Inc., and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the amount of $1,375.00 be transferred from the Mayor and Council's Contingency Appropriation (Account No. 401 -48) to the Administrative Office Furniture and Fixtures Appropriation (Account No. 4051 -52) to provide for the purchase of the cash register for the City Hall. July 26, 1971 Date ATTEST• C -e r Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary Al and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted.
