HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-154 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -154 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Erwin Montgomery Construction Co. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: Water Main Improvement Project No. 1969 -76 (Contract 1970 -B) Camden Ave. No. from 55th Ave. to 57th Ave., and 56th Ave. No. from Camden Ave. to 4th Street. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed exceeded the original contract amount by $135.90 because one 6" gate valve and box was added to provide for a future extension to the water system on 56th Avenue No. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on August 9, 1971, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $11,179.10. Aucrust 9, 1971 Date Mayor ATTEST; Cterk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Vernon Ausen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary and Vernon Ausen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
