HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-155 CCR Member Vernon Ausen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. a1 -1.55 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Erwin Montgomery Construction Co. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: Water Main Improvement Project No. 1969 -78 (Contract 1970 -B) Camden Ave. No. from 62nd Ave. to approx. 620' north of 62nd Ave., and on easement from approx. 620' north of 62nd Ave. to 62nd Ave.; and Camden Court from Camden Ave, to approx. 250' east of Camden Ave. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $112.20 because the location of the easement from Northbrook Alliance Church was changed, thus causing a re- duction in the length of pipe required. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on August 9, 1971, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $10,104.40.
