k,
RESOLUTION NO. 71 -156
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK
(CONTRACTED BY CITY)
WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the
City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Erwin Montgomery Construction Co.
has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord
ance with said contract:
Water Main Improvement Project No. 1970 -5 (Contract 1970 -B)
Camden Ave. No. from 53rd Ave. to 55th Ave.; 4th Street No. from
53rd Ave. to 55th Ave.; and 55th Ave. No. from Camden Ave. to
approximately 255 feet east of 4th Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center:
1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted
and approved.
2. The value of work performed is less than the original
contract amount by $1,081.50 because:

some miscellaneous fittings; and
b) The water main was constructed without cutting as many
sanitary services as anticipated.
3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis-
fied on said contract on August 9, 1971, taking the contractor's
receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said
