HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-159 CCR Member Vernon Ausen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -159 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Erwin Montgomery Construction Co. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No. 1970 -9 (Contract 1970 -B) James Avenue No. from approx. 430 ft. north of 65th Avenue to 67th Avenue, and 67th Ave. No. from James Avenue to approx. 200 ft. east of James Avenue. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $305.35 because of general over estimation of plan quantities. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on August 9, 1971, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $10,121.10. August 9, 1971 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary and Vernon Ausen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
