HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-162 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -162 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Erwin Montgomery Construction Co. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No. 1970 -12 (Contract 1970 -B) Shingle Creek Pkwy from 65th to 67th Ave. No.; on easement overlying extension of Shingle Creek Pkwy northerly; and on easement northeast- erly to inplace sanitary sewer on west line of Outlot B, T.C.I.P. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $90.45 because of general over estimation of plan quantities. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on August 9, 1971, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $19,158.55. August 9, 1971 Date Mayor ATTEST:2- v� 'lerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Vernon Ausen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary and Vernon Ausen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
