HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-165 CCR Member Vernon Ausen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -165 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Bury Carlson, Inc., has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: (MSAP No. 09- 116 -01) Street Grading, Base Surfacing and Sidewalk Project No. 1970 -3 (Joint project with Brooklyn Park B.P. Improvement #1970 -03) Noble Avenue from T.H. 152 to north corporate limits. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed exceeded the original contract amount by $1,932.68 because the relocation of the traffic signals at the intersection of Brooklyn Blvd. and Noble Avenue was not originally included in the contract. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on August 9, 1971, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $46,437.82.
