HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-184 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0.71 -184 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTATIONS FOR PHOTOGRAPHIC DARKROOM EQUIPMENT Whereas, Section 6:05 of the City Charter of the City of Brooklyn Center does require that the City Manager must first obtain the approval of the City Council prior to making or letting contracts for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work when the amount of such contract exceeds one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) but is less than twenty -five hundred dollars ($2,500.00); and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that he has received quotations for photographic darkroom equipment as follows: Brown Photo $1,410.45 Treck Photographic Inc. $1,446.35 Gopher Camera Inc. $1,491.90 NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, to accept the quotation of Brown Photo in the amount of $1,410.45 for furnishing photographic darkroom equipment. September 13, 1971 Date ATTEST t Clerk Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregiong resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof Philip Cohen, john Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
