HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-187 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and .moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -187 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR NORTHBROOK LIQUOR STORE EQUIPMENT AND REMODELING WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Clerk have reported that on September 27, 1971 at 11 :00 A.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the general contract work, electrical contract work, and equipment for the construction of a municipal liquor store in Northbrook Shopping Center as follows: Contractor Bid Display Fixtures of Minnesota, Inc. 30,500.00 Brager, Inc. 35,156.84 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota to award the bid for remodeling and equipment at the Northbrook Municipal Liquor Store to Display Fixtures of Minnesota, Inc. in the amount of $30,500. 00. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to authorize the Mayor and the City Manager to execute a contract with said bidder. September 27, 1971 Date Mayor ATTEST Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
