HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-203 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -203 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1971 -20 AND STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1971 -21 AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed improve- ments consisting of the following: Estimated Project No. Improvement Cost 1971 -20 Sanitary Sewer in existing Earle Brown Drive (B.C.I.P. Plat 1) from Summit Drive North to the southwesterly boundary of Outlot B (B.C.I.P. Plat 1), and on an easement whose centerline overlies the southwesterly boundary of said Outlot B from existing Earle Brown Drive to proposed Earle Brown Drive in Tract Z of R.L.S. No. and in proposed Earle Brown Drive from approximately 550 feet northeasterly of.Summit Drive North to approximately 1200 feet northeasterly of Summit Drive North. $22,100.00 1971 -21 Storm Sewer in existing Earle Brown Drive (B.C.I.P. Plat 1) from Summit Drive North to the southwesterly boundary of Outlot B (B.C.I.P. Plat l), and on an easement whose centerline overlies the southwesterly boundary of said Outlot B from existing Earle Brown Drive to proposed Earle Brown Drive in Tract Z of R.L.S. No. and in proposed Earle Brown Drive from approximately 550 feet northeasterly of Summit Drive North to approximately 1200 feet northeasterly of Summit Drive North, and in Summit Drive North from approximately 110 feet north of proposed Earle Brown Drive to approx- imately 50 feet southerly of proposed Earle Brown Drive. $24,800.00 WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report advising that said proposed improvements are feasible and that they can be constructed at estimated costs as indicated above. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes. RESOLUTION NO. 71 -203 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvements shall be held at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 1st day of November, 1971, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., central standard time, and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the City. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is as follows: All that property in Section 2, T. 118, R. 21, and Section 35, T. 119, R. 21, lying northwesterly of T.H. 100, easterly of Summit Drive North, and southerly of Outlot C of Brooklyn Center Industrial Park Plat 1. 4. These proposed improvements shall be designated Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No. 1971 -20 and Storm Sewer Improvement Project No. 1971 -21.
