HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-207 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -207 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 1 TO COOPERATIVE SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT NO. 56945 WITH THE STATE OF MINNESOTA, DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Brooklyn Center enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Highways, for the following purposes, to wit: To supplement Agreement No. 56945 dated September 22, 1971, and provide for the City of Brooklyn Center to make the necessary changes in its plans for Concrete Sidewalk Improvement Project No. 1971 -11, and to make the required arrangements with its contractor for the aforesaid City project for the construction of pedestrian curb ramps at thirty (30) intersection locations along Trunk Highway No. 152 between Trunk Highway No. 100 and the north corporate City limits. Said supplemental agreement also provides for the State to pay to the City the State's share of the aforesaid pedestrian curb ramps construction. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager be and they hereby are authorized to execute such Supplemental Agreement No.l to Cooperative Sidewalk Construction Agreement No. 56945. October 18, 1971 Date Mayor ATTEST: 61``` +1 erk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Vernon Ausen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
