HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-209 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and: moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -209 RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING GIFT WHEREAS, the Brooklyn Historical Society has presented the City of Brooklyn Center a gift of fifty dollars ($50.00) and has designated that it be used for decorating the Community Center for "an old fashioned Christmas and WHEREAS, the City Council appreciates the contribution and commends the Brooklyn Historical Society for their outstanding civic efforts: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to acknowledge with gratitude the gift from the Brooklyn Historical Society. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the gift of $50.00 be appropriated to the Parks and Recreation Community Center supplies budget (474 -5 -39) to be used for Christmas decorating. November 1, 1971 Date Mayor ATTEST: lei The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Vernon Ausen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
