and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. -21
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CANCELLATION OF SPECIAL
ASSESSMENTS ON CITY PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center has acquired certain
properties for park and other public purposes which have special
assessments due thereon, and
WHEREAS, it is an established City policy to cancel the
special assessments on City property from the Hennepin County
tax rolls and to set up same for payment through the City Finance
Office
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Auditor is
authorized and directed to cancel all unpaid special assessments
on the following parcels in the amounts listed, and the Finance
Office be directed to set up total unpaid principal for payment
according to established City policy.

Commencing at the southeast corner of the north 40 acres of
Government Lot 3, thence south 200.67 feet; thence west parallel
with the south line thereof 2150.32 feet to actual point of
beginning; thence deflect left 136 0 54' to the south line of
Lot 3; thence westerly along the south line thereof to the shore
of Twin Lake; thence northerly along said shore line to an
intersection with a line parallel with and 200.62 feet south
from the south line of the north 40 acres of Lot 3; thence east

The motion for,the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Vernon Ausen and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: John Leary,
Vernon Ausen, and Howard Heck;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
