HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-213 CCR The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the con sideration of proposed Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No.1971 -20. The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publication thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on October 28, 1971, which affidavit was examined and found satis- factory and ordered placed on file. The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement. After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 110. 71 -213 RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1971 -20 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary and for the best interests of the City and the owners of property specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be constructed: Project No. 1971 -20 Sanitary sewer in existing Earle Brown Drive (B.C.I.P. Plat 1) from Summit Drive North to the southwesterly boundary of Outlot B (B.C.I.P. Plat 1), and on an ease- ment whose centerline overlies the southwesterly boundary of said Outlot B from existing Earle Brown Drive to proposed Earle Brown Drive in Tract Z of R.L.S. and in proposed Earle Brown Drive from approximately 550 feet northeasterly of Summit Drive North to approximately 1200 feet northeasterly of Summit Drive North. The estimated cost is $17,500.00. November 1, 1971 Date Mayor ATTEST: clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
