RESOLUTION NO 71 -224
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO TRANSFER AN
APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $11,515.00 FROM THE MAYOR
AND COUNCIL'S CONTINGENCY ACCOUNT NO. 401 -48 TO THE STREET
DEPARTMENT MATERIALS ACCOUNT NO. 422 -32 FOR THE EMERGENCY
REPAIR OF THE STORM SEWER OUTFALL STRUCTURE AT 65TH AVENUE
NORTH A ST HE MISSISSIPPI B=
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center did on
July 12, 1971 authorize the City Manager to proceed with emergency repair of
the storm sewer outfall structure at 65th Avenue North and the Mississippi
River; and
WHEREAS, the emergency repair work for the storm sewer outfall
structure has been completed for an amount of $11, 515.00; and
WHEREAS, on July 12, 1971, the City Manager recommended to the
City Council that an appropriation be subsequently transferred from the Mayor
and Council's Contingency Account to the Street Department Materials Account
to fund the cost of said repairs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to transfer an appropriation
in the amount of $11, 515.00 from the Mayor and Council's Contingency Account
No. 401 -48 to the Street Department Materials Account No. 422 -32, for the
emergency repair of the storm sewer outfall at 65th Avenue North and the
Mississippi River.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
I'I by member Vernon Ausen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen,
Howard Heck and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
