HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-228 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -228 RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTIONS NO. 71 -202, 71 -204 AND 71 -215 ADOPTED OCTOBER 18, 1971 AND NOVEMBER 1, 1971 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 71 -202 established Water Main Improvement Project No. 1971 -22 and ordered preparation of plans and specifications; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 71 -204 provided for a public hearing for said project; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 71 -215 ordered construction of said project; and WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of said resolutions, a change in utility locations has been requested by the developer; and WHEREAS, said change in utility locations changes the project description; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to amend so much of Resolutions No. 71 -202, 71 -204 and 71 -215 as pertains to the project description for Water Main Improvement Project No. 1971 -22 to read as follows: 1971 -22 Water Main On an easement whose centerline is described as follows: Beginning at the southerly intersection of Summit Drive North and Earle Brown Drive, thence southerly approx- imately 114 feet to the true point of beginning, thence northeasterly approximately 1,000 feet to a point on the south boundary of Section 35, Township 119, Range 21, lying approximately 770 feet west of the southeast corner of said section, said easement there terminating. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to amend so much of Resolution No. 71 -215 as pertains to the estimated cost to read 11 $13,300.00 November 22, 1971 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
