HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-233 CCR Member Vernon Ausen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -233 RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE PURCHASE OF MISCELLANEOUS DARKROOM EQUIPMENT WHEREAS, Section 6:05 of the City Charter of the City of Brooklyn Center does require that the City Manager must first obtain the approval of the City Council prior to making or letting contracts for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work when the amount of such contract exceeds one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) but is less than twenty five hundred dollars ($2,500.00) and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of Miscellaneous Darkroom Equipment and has determined that the quotation of Gopher Camera Inc., 99 So. 10th Street, Minneapolis, Minnesota in the amount of $2,382.55 for Miscellaneous Darkroom Equipment is the best quotation submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of Miscellaneous Darkroom Equipment in the amount of $2,382.55 from Gopher Camera Inc., 99 So. 10th Street, Minneapolis, Minnesota. December 13, 1971 Date Mayor ATTEST:s' Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
