HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-079 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71-79 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR FURNISHING BITUMINOUS OIL WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Clerk have reported that on April 8, 1971, at 11:00 A.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of bituminous oil and that said bids were as follows: CRS1/ CRS1/ CRSl/ CRS1/ MC -800 MC -800 RC -800 RC -800 CRS2 CRS2 CRS6 w/ CRS6 w/ Bidder Del. Sickels NB NB NB NB .1513 .1450 .2535 .2460 Northwestern Refining Co. .1430 .1350 .1455 .1375 NB NB NB NB Barber Oil .1423 .1350 .1548 .1475 NB NB NB NB Richards Oil .1425 .1400 .1450 .1425 .1525 .1450 NB NB NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Northwestern Refining Co. for MC -800 and RC -800 materials in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of L.N. Sickels for the furnishing of CRS -1 and CRS -2 material in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. April 19 1971 p Date Mayor ATTEST: 'Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, and Howard Heck and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
