HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-080 CCR Member Vernon Ausen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -80 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR REINFORCED CONCRETE PIPE WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Clerk have reported that on April 8, 1971, at 11:00 A.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of reinforced concrete pipe and that said bids were as follows: 15" RCP 12" RCP 27" 39" Class 4 Class 4 C. B. C. B. Bidder Per ft. Per ft. Per ft. Bases ea. Total North Star Concrete 3.61 2.84 9.60 9.16 8,674.00 Bladholm Brothers 3.75 2.95 9.95 9.47 9,006.75 Elk River Concrete 3.01 2.35 9.55 9.09 7,387.25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Elk River Concrete Products for the furnishing of reinforced concrete pipe in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. April 19, 1971 Date Mayor ATTEST: clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Vernon Ausen, and Howard Heck and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
