HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-082 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -82 RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING GIFT WHEREAS, the Brooklyn Center Harmonettes have presented the City of Brooklyn Center a gift of forty dollars and fifty cents ($40.50) and have designated that it be used for carpeting choral risers; and WHEREAS, the City Council appreciates the contribution and commends the Brooklyn Center Harmonettes for their outstanding civic efforts; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to acknowledge with gratitude the gift from the Brooklyn Center Harmonettes; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the gift of $40.50 be appropriated to the Parks and Recreation Furniture and Equipment Budget to be used for carpeting choral risers. April 19, 1971 Date Mayor ATTEST: The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, and HowErd. Heck; and the following voted against the same; none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
