HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-088 CCR Member Vernon Ausen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -88 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF ONE 3/4 TON FOUR -WHEEL DRIVE PICKUP AND SNOWPLOW FOR THE PARK DEPARTMENT THROUGH HENNEPIN COUNTY PURCHASING AGREEMENT. WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center is authorized to participate in the Hennepin County Purchasing Agreement; and WHEREAS, on Tuesday, March 30, 1971 at 2:00 P.M. C.S.T., bids were received for the furnishing of one 3/4 ton four -wheel drive pickup and snowplow: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of International Harvester Co. 2727 University Avenue S.E. in the amount of $4,066.27 for the furnishing of one 3/4 ton four -wheel drive pickup truck and snowplow, in accordance with the specifications, is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. April 19, 1971 Date Mayor ATTEST: 'Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. l
