HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-102 CCR Member Vernon Ausen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -102 RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO MINNESOTA HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT AGREEMENT NO. 56828 REGARDING TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION AT T.H. 100 INTERCHANGE WITH C.S.A.H. NO. 10 BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Brooklyn Center enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Highways, and the County of Hennepin for the following purposes, to wit: To install a traffic control signal with street lights at the Trunk Highway No. 100 Interchange with County State Aid Highway No. 10 (57th Avenue North) in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth and contained in Agreement No. 56828, a copy of which was before the Council. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager be and they are hereby authorized to execute such an agreement, and thereby assume for and on behalf of the City of Brooklyn Center all of the contractual obligations contained therein. May 24, 1971 l Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Howard Heck, Theodore Willard and Vernon Ausen, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
