HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-103 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -103 RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTIONS NO. 71 -92 AND 71 -97 ADOPTED MAY 3, 1971 PERTAINING TO WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1971 -10 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 71 -92 adopted May 3, 1971, established Water Main Improvement Project No. 1971 -10 and ordered preparation of plans and specifications; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 71 -97 adopted the same date approved plans and specifications for said Water Main Improvement Project No. 1971 -10 and directed advertisement for bids (Contract No. 1971 -B); and WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of said resolutions, additional water main has been requested by the developer; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota to amend so much of Resolutions No. 71 -92 and 71 -97 as pertains to the location of the improvement project to read as follows: 1971 -10 Water Main Earle Brown Drive from John Martin Drive to Summit'Drive North, and on an easement commencing at a point on the centerline of John Martin Drive approximately 200 feet southerly of its centerline intersection with Earle Brown Drive; thence southwesterly t a point n the east line 0 P 0 0 of Penn Avenue North approximately 40 feet south of the Northwest corner of the S.W. 1/4 of the N.E. 1/4, Sec. 2, T. 118, R. 21. May 24, 1971 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Howard Heck, Theodore Willard and Vernon Ausen, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
