resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 71 -122
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CANCELLATION OF SPECIAL
ASSESSMENT ON CITY PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center has acquired certain
properties for park and other public purposes which have special
assessments due thereon, and
WHEREAS, it is an established City policy to cancel the
special assessments on City property from the Hennepin County
tax rolls and to set up same for payment through the City Finance
Office
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Auditor is
authorized and directed to cancel all unpaid special assessments
on the following parcels in the amounts listed, and the Finance
Office be directed to set up total unpaid principal for payment
according to established City policy.

That part of Lots 31 and 32 lying west of Shingle Creek Parkway
and lying north of a line running from the northeast corner of
Lot 8 to a point in the west line of Lot 33 distant 32 feet south
from the northwest corner thereof.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof Philip Cohen,
John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Thec) dore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
