HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-126 CCR r i Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution C nd moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -126 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING BROOKLYN CENTER BUSINESS RECOGNITION AND .:PROMOTION DAY WHEREAS, the Brooklyn Center business community has played a vital role in the progressive development of the City; and WHEREAS, the continued cooperative efforts of the business and civic sectors of the community are essential to the maintenance of the high quality of life standards found in the City of Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, the Brooklyn Center City Council is fully appreciative of the achievements and potential of the business community: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that July 8, 1971 be hereby declared Brooklyn Center Business Recognition and Promotion' Day. June 2 8 f 1971 Date Mayor ATTEST:' The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
