HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-056 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -56 RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING GIFT WHEREAS, the E. H. Petsuch Realty Company of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, has presented the City of Brooklyn Center a gift of fifty dollars ($50.00), and has designated that it be used for purchasing equipment for the Civic Center; and WHEREAS, the City Council appreciates the contribution and commends E. H. Petsuch Realty Company for its outstanding civic effort: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to acknowledge with gratitude the gift from E. H. Petsuch Realty; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the gift of $50.00 be appropriated to the Parks and Recreation Furniture and Equipment Budget to be used to purchase additional equipment for the Civic Center not previously provided for in the budget. March 29 1971 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member john Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Vernon Ausen, and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
