HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-013 CCR i Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO .71-13. RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN TAX FORFEITED LAND IN THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER TO BE USED FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES i WHEREAS, there is situated within the boundaries of the City of Brooklyn Center and the County of Hennepin certain tax forfeited land; and WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center desires to obtain the said land for public purposes: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be instructed to make application for conveyance of tax forfeited lands as herein described and further, that the Mayor and City Manager be authorized to sign such application for conveyance. The land is described as follows: Plat 89034, Parcel 7030 The nortIT73U MU feet of the Wiest 100 feet of the east 875 feet of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4, except highway. Sec. 34, Twp. 119, R 21. Plat 89103 Parcel 2120 The south 130 feet of the north 384 8/10 feet, except ditch. Lot 16 Auditor's Subdivision No. 218 Plat 89104 Parcel 865 The east 90 feet or the west 180 feet of that part of Lot 6 lying east of a line running north at right angles from a point in the south line distant 1095 5/10 feet east from the southwest corner thereof.
