HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-017 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -17 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF SIX POLICE CARS THROUGH HENNEPIN COUNTY PURCHASING AGREEMENT WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center is authorized to participate in the Hennepin County Purchasing Agreement; and WHEREAS, on Tuesday, December 8, 1970 at 2 :00 P.M. bids were received for the furnishing of police cars: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Iten Chevrolet in the amount of $13,920 for the furnishing of four (4) police patrol cars, including options, and $3,160 each. for; two (2) police cars, less special police package, in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Freeway Ford in the amount of $3,168.92 for the furnishing of one (1) police car, including options, in accordance with the specifications, is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. Tanuary 18, 1971 Date, Mayor f ATTEST: Cferk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member john Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
