HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-018 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its .adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -18 RESOLUTION RETAINING CASH ESCROW PREVIOUSLY APPROVED FOR RELEASE FOR BING'S ADDITION NO. 2 WHEREAS, on October 19, 1970 the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center passed Resolution No. 70 -193 releasing a portion of the cash escrow for Bing's Addition No. 2, in the amount of $443.25, to Mr. Anthony Pendzimaz; and WHEREAS, a requirement for the release of these monies was that Mr. Pendzimaz obtain a bond in the amount of $750.00 to guarantee payment of street surfacing for 68th Avenue North abutting Lots 2 and 4, Block 1, Bing's Addition No. 2; and WHEREAS, Mr. Pendzimaz has notified the City of his intention not to obtain the required bond; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to direct the City Treasurer to retain the cash escrow previously approved for release to Mr. Anthony Pendzimaz. Tanuary 25. 1971 Date Mayor ATTEST:,/ Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
