HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-020 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -20 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF ONE 1/2 TON PICKUP FOR THE PUBLIC UTILITIES DEPARTMENT THROUGH HENNEPIN COUNTY PURCHASING AGREEMENT WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center is authorized to participate in the Hennepin County Purchasing Agreement; and WHEREAS, on Tuesday, January 12, 1971 at 2 :00 P.M. bids were received for the furnishing of one 1/2 ton pickup: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Brellenthin Hopkins Dodge, Inc. in the amount of $2,420.20 for the furnishing of one (1) 1/2 ton pickup for the Public Utilities Department, including options, (B deduct) in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. January 25, 1971 Date Mayor Y ATTEST: clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member. Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
