HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-023 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -23 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREET WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the street hereinafter described should be designated a Municipal State Aid Street under the provisions of Minnesota Laws of 1967, Chapter 162: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the street described as follows: No. Street From: To: 121 Freeway Boulevard Shingle Creek Parkway Xerxes Avenue No. at 65th Avenue No. be, and hereby is established, located, and designated a Municipal State Aid Street of said City of Brooklyn Center, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Highways of the State of Minnesota. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Highways for his consideration, and that upon his approval of the designation of said street or portion thereof, that same be constructed, improved and maintained as a Municipal State Aid Street of the City of Brooklyn Center, to be numbered and known as a Municipal State Aid Street as indicated above. Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
