RESOLUTION NO. 71 -25 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CIVIC CENTER AUDIO BIDS WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Clerk have reported that on February 1, 1971 at 2:00 P.M. C S T they opened and tabulated bids received for furnishing and installing an audio system for the Civic Center as follows: SYSTEM Background ELEMENTS Subco Co. Lew Bonn Co. Music, Inc. 1. Council Chamber System 2,516.13 2,182.96 3,765.75 2. City Hall System 1,951.75 2,611.35 3,282.80 3. Social Hall System 1,464.61 791.70 2,361.31 4. Swimming Pool System 1,738.25 3,745.88 4,045.85 5. Community Center System 1,527.25 1,631.91 2,184.60 6. Inter -area hookups 000 424.20 498.00 7. Emergency Circuit 1,036.50 212.63 907.75 8. Annual Maintenance contract 415.50 250.00 000 TOTALS $10,649.99 $11,850.63 $17,046.06 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of the Subco Company for the following Civic Center Audio System Elements is deemed to be the best bid submitted: SYSTEM ELEMENT AMOUNT 1. Council Chamber System 2,516.13 2. City Hall System 1,951.75 3. Social Hall System 1,464.61 4. Swimming Pool System 1,738.25 5. Community Center System 1,527.25 TOTAL 9,197.99 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to authorize the Mayor and City Manager to execute a contract with the Subco Company, Inc. February 22. 19 71 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member john Leary, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
