HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-029 CCR Member john Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -29 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING WATER STORAGE TANK TOWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1971 -1 AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WHEREAS, the City Council did by Resolution No. 67 -316 dated October 16, 1967, deem it necessary to initiate Water Storage Tank Tower Improvement Project No. 1968 -1, and WHEREAS, other construction projects have held a higher priority for construction during the past three years, and WHEREAS, Improvement Project No. 1968 -1 has not been constructed, and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to re- designate Water Storage Tank Tower Improvement Project No. 1968 -1 as Improvement Project No. 1971 -1; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to direct the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for said Water Storage Tank Tower Improvement Project No. 1971 -1, described as follows: 1971 -1 Water Storage Tank Tower #3 2,000,000 gallon elevated steel water storage tank and tower south of T.H.100 and west of Shingle Creek. l February 22, 1971 Date Mayor ATTEST: 1 Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
