HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-042 CCR Member john Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -42 RESOLUTION AMENDING THAT PART OF RESOLUTION NO. 70 -93 ADOPTED JULY 13, 1970 PERTAINING TO STREET BASE SURFACING IMPROVE- MENT PROJECT NO. 1970 -19 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 70 -93 established Street Base Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1970 -19, described as follows: 1970 -19 Street Base Surfacing (M.S.A.P.09- 109 -07 09- 110 -06) Shingle Creek Parkway from Xerxes Avenue North to County Road No. 130, and Xerxes Avenue North from FAI 94 to Shingle Creek Pkwy, and WHEREAS, subsequent to the establishment of said project, modifi- cations in the scope of the improvement have made it necessary to limit the construction of Shingle Creek Parkway to the south half (one 27 -foot roadway) of the Parkway, and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to construct side- walk on one side of Shingle Creek Parkway and Xerxes Avenue North; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to amend so much of said resolution as pertains to the project description to read as follows: 1970 -19 Street Base, Surfacing Sidewalk (M.S.A.P.09- 109 -09 M.S.A.P.09- 110 -05) The south half (one 27 -foot roadway) of Shingle Creek Parkway from Xerxes Avenue to County Road 130, and Xerxes Avenue North from Shingle Creek Parkway to FAI 94, with sidewalk installed on one side. March 8, 1971 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck, and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Vernon Ausen and Howard Heck; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
