HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-058 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -58 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING RADIO SYSTEM PROPOSALS WHEREAS, the City Manager and the City Clerk report that on March 24, 1971 at 12:00 Noon, they received and tabulated proposals received for furnishing and installing Police, Fire, Public Works, and Civil Defense radio equipment in the police dispatching- emergency operating center at the new Civic Center as follow s: 1. General Communications, Inc. $12, 107.95 2. Air Comm Co. $14,750.20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the proposal of General Communications, Inc. is deemed to be the best bid submitted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to authorize the Mayor and City Manager to execute a contract with General Communications, Inc. March 29, 1971 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard;: and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
