HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-076 CCR i Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -76 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CIVIC CENTER LANDSCAPING BIDS WHEREAS, the City Manager and the City Clerk report that on April 19, 1971 at 2: 00 P.M. they received and tabulated bids for furnishing and installing landscaping at the new Civic Center as follows: Urban Landscaping Co. Phase I 9,735.00 Phase 11 4,150.00 Dundee Nursery Phase 1 $16,143.36 6,122.44 Bachmans, Inc. Phase 1 $16,403.00 Phase II 6,879.00 Halla Nursery, Inc. Phase I $16,895.00 Phase II 6,008.00 Homedale Nurseries Phase I $17,469.15 Phase II 5,978.30 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Urban Landscaping Co. for Phase I in the amount of 9,735.00 is deemed to be the best bid submitted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to authorize the City Manager to negotiate a possible extention of the Phase II bid in the amount of $4,150.00 to be exercised at the City's option prior to October 1, 1971. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to authorize the Mayor and City Manager to execute a contract with Urban Landscapi 9-Q0- April 19, 1971 Date z Mayor v ATTEST• Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Vernon Ausen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, and Howard Heck and the following voted against the same: none whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
