HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-077 CCR Member Vernon Ausen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0.71 77 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CIVIC CENTER SOD PROPOSALS WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Clerk report that on April 19, 1971 at 2:00 O'clock P.M. they received and tabulated proposals for furnishing sod at the new Civic Center as follows: A L Superior Sod Go. Inc. 18 /sq yd Central Landscaping, Inc. 2 2 /sq yd John L. Neuman Sons, Inc. .24 /sq.yd. W. &G. Rehbein Bros. .24 /sq.yd. r Hoffman Bros. .25 /sq.yd. Kern, Inc. 2 7/ sq yd Schiltgen Farms, Inc. .28 /sq.yd. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the proposal of A L Superior Sod Co. Inc. in the amount of eighteen (18�) cents per square yard is deemed to be the best proposal submitted, and the City Manager is authorized to purchase up to 27,000 yards of sod pursuant to the proposal. April 19, 1971 Date Mayor ATTEST: v Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Howard Heck, and Vernon Ausen and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
