HomeMy WebLinkAbout1971-078 CCR Member John Leary., introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71 -78 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR STABILIZED GRAVEL AND FINE AGGREGATE FOR SEAL COAT WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Clerk have reported that on April 8, 1971, at 11:00 A.M., they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of stabilized gravel and fine aggregate for seal coat and that said bids were as follows: MHD MHD MHD Buck Buck Crushed Crushes BA -2 BA -2 C1.5 C1.5 FA -1 Shot Shot Rock Rock Bidder Del. McCrosson 1.75 .95 1.70 1.00 .60 NB NB NB NB Buesing Bros. 1.53 .90 1.53 .90 NB NB NB NB NB NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Allied Blacktop for the furnishing of crushed rock in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Anderson Aggregate for the furnishing of BA 2, C1.5, FA -1 and Buckshot in acs with ith the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. April 19, 1971 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clec The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Howard Heck, and Vernon Ausen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
