HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-208 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Lzinetti Sons, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: Storm Sewer Improvement Project No. 1969 -39 (Contract 1969 -A) Shingle Creek Parkway, Lushine Drive Sheehan Road area. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $5,210.85 because: a) $4,000.00 was attributed to deleting the optional item of 6" metal drain pipe; and b) the remaining difference is due to general overestimating of plan quantities. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on October 19, 1970, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $388,597.15. October 19, 1970 Date Mayor ATTEST: Cldrk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
