HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-211 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -211 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Lametti Sons, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: Grading Improvement Project No. 1969 -43 (Contract 1969 -A) 65th Ave. No. from Humboldt Ave. to 1000 ft. west. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed exceeded the original contract amount by $119.00 because of general underestimating of common excavation. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on October 19, 1970, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $4,446.35. October 19, 1970 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Phili Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willaro; and the following voted against the same: none whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
