HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-212 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -212 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Lametti Sons, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: Sanitary Sewer Interceptor Improvement Project 1969 -45 (Contract 1969 -A) 70th Ave. No., Irving Ave. No., 69th Ave. No. and vacated James Ave. No. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $4,918.60 because the specifications amended the method of calculating the pay depths of the sanitary sewer, and because of general overestimating of plan quantities. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on October 19, 1970, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $54,868.40. October 19, 1970 Date Mayor i ATTEST: s dlerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
