HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-237 CCR Member john Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -237 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, C. S. McCrossan, Inc., has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accordance with said contract: Paving Parking Lots and Driveway Areas at East Side Fire Station NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed exceeded the original contract amount by $69.75 because of general underestimating of quantities. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment shall be made on said contract for said improvement on December 14, 1970, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount to be paid for said contract for said improvement is $844.75. December 7, 1970 i Date Mayor ATTEST: C18rk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the .same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
