HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-124 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -124 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, C. S. McCrossan, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1969 -11 (Contract 1969 -C) Camden Ave. from 57th to 59th Ave.; 58th Ave. No. from approx. 135 to 255 of Camden; 57th from 135 of Aldrich to Camden; Aldrich from 56th to 57th; and 56th Ave. No. from Aldrich to approx. 136' east of Aldrich. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $2 because 57th Avenue North was not paved the full width and the Street Department adjusted all man- holes, catch basins and gate valves and repaired all driveways. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on August 10, 1970 taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $4,364.50. August 10, 1970 Date Mayor ATTE ST Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member john Leary, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen., John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
