and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 70 -125
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK
(CONTRACTED BY CITY)
WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the
City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, C. S. McCrossan, Inc.
has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord-
ance with said contract:
Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1969 -13 (Contract 1969 -C)
Colfax Ave. No. from 55th to approx.240' north of 57th; 56th
Ave. No. from 136' west of Colfax to 136' east of Colfax; and
57th from Colfax Ave. to approx. 175' east of Colfax.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center:
1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted
and approved.
2. The value of work performed is less than the original
contract amount by $1 because 57th Avenue North was not
paved the full width and the Street Department adjusted all man-
holes, catch basins and gate valves and repaired all driveways.
3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis-
fied on said contract on August 10, 1970, taking the contractor's
receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said
improvement project was $3,624.42.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Theodore Willard, and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John
Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck, and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
