and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 70 -126
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK
(CONTRACTED BY CITY)
WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the
City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, C. S. McCrossan, Inc.
has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord-
ance with said contract:
Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1969 -15 (Contract 1969 -C)
Dupont Ave. No. from 55th to 57th; 56th Ave. No. from Dupont to
136' east of Dupont; 58th Ave. No. from Dupont to 133' east of
Colfax; and Colfax Ave. No. from 58th to 59th Ave.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center:
1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted
and approved.
2. The value of work performed is less than the original
contract amount by $1.10 because additional paving on 56th Avenue
No. and 58th Avenue No. was required to correct drainage problems,
and Colfax Avenue was not included in the original estimate. How-
ever, the Street Department adjusted all manholes, catch basins
and gate valves and repaired all driveways.
3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis-
fied on said contract on August 10, 1970 taking the contractor's
receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said
improvement project was $4,895.20.
