HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-131 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -131 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK i (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, C. S. McCrossan, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1969 -29 (Contract 1969 -C) France Place from 57th Avenue No. to Halifax Avenue No. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $381.90 because the Street Department repaired the driveways and adjusted the manholes, catch basins and gate valves. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on August 10, 1970 taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was 11,988.82. r August 10, 1970 Date Mayor ATTEST:'�h� -z�r�� Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly r seconded by member Howard Heck, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck, and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
